Transition To The WPIAL

Last year, it was announced that most Allderdice sports teams would leave the city league and join suburban and private school in the WPIALs. Traditionally, WPIALs houses teams that are more competitive than the teams of the City League, which poses a challenge for Allderdice sports teams that are not used to high levels of competition. Tough Loss Ends Boys’ Soccer Season

After twenty straight wins, the inevitable came for the boys’ soccer team when they were handed their first and only loss of the season Nov. 8 as they were eliminated from the state playoffs.

Undefeated, Boys’ Soccer Goes for Gold

The boys’ soccer team has started the season off right, showing the City League that they are not a team to be messed with.
